What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website may store in your browser to remember information across requests or visits. They serve different purposes and last for different periods. Other technologies, including local storage, can have similar uses without being cookies.
First-party, third-party, session and persistent cookies
First-party cookies are managed by the site you visit; third-party cookies come from another domain or service. Session cookies normally expire at the end of a session. Persistent cookies remain for the time set by their operator or until you delete them.
Categories by purpose
Technical cookies support functions necessary to deliver a service. Preference cookies remember choices such as language. Analytics cookies measure site use. Advertising and behavioural advertising cookies manage adverts or create profiles from browsing activity.
Embedded social services may also use their platforms’ cookies. These are descriptions of common categories, not a statement that they are all present here.
What this website actually uses
In this version of https://javierconcha.com, the website code does not create its own cookies or use localStorage or sessionStorage to store preferences or identifiers. There is no registration, shopping cart, private account area, analytics or advertising software.
The language follows the URL you choose: Spanish, English or Catalan. The reduced-motion preference is read from the system through the browser, not stored in a cookie. The carousels, menu and particles do not need cookies to work.
Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Google Ads, DoubleClick, Meta Pixel and social widgets are not loaded. There are therefore no cookies from these services to accept or reject in order to view these pages.
External services and hosting
Google Fonts loads the typeface. This creates an external technical connection that may communicate information such as your IP address; processing is explained in the Privacy policy. An external connection is not the same as a cookie.
Links to social networks, SANTACONCHA and other websites do not embed their tools in this page. When you open them, consult the destination’s privacy and cookie information.
The hosting provider or a server protection layer could add its own technical technologies. Any configuration change that alters the use described must be reflected in this policy; the information above describes this version’s website code.
Why there is no preference panel
This version does not include optional cookies or tracking technologies to activate through a preference panel. It therefore does not display a notice asking you to accept categories that are not used here.
If analytics, advertising or embedded content requiring consent is added later, the relevant information and consent mechanism must be provided before activation. Continuing to browse will not by itself be treated as permission for those new purposes.
Managing or deleting browser data
The privacy settings in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge or another browser let you inspect site data, delete it and restrict first-party or third-party cookies. Options and names depend on the browser version; consult its official help for current instructions.
Blocking cookies does not prevent navigation through these static pages. On other services, blocking necessary cookies may affect functions such as signing in or keeping a shopping cart. Browser settings do not replace the privacy options of platforms you visit.
Information, updates and contact
Read the Privacy policy for information on contact and browsing data. This policy will be reviewed when the technologies used change. For any questions, write to email address.
